Diary Entry – 22nd January 2023

Certainly getting into a rhythm with this Vanlife stuff, it does certainly get easier as you get used to it. I started the morning at about 09:30 taking the Wee Man for a 1.5 mile walk as he woke way way too early from his nap. So as soon as i heard him stir and not go back over i jumped up, popped him into his pram as quick as i could. I just turned right today out of the campsite and just kept walking, a little Forest Gump esc, to be honest i was mainly trying to find fishing spots into the sea but never really found anything that interested me. I quite enjoy that bit of time in the morning, It gives Lisa some time to get herself together, showered etc.

Let me start this paragraph by stating that Lisa is always late, a nightmare drives me barmy. We decided to walk up a mountain today this afternoon, Lisa said it would take about 1 hour each way, it took several. There were steps all the way up, so we had to walk the road way it ended up being nearly 3 hours up and 3 hours down, iv covered about 10 miles of walking today and i am shattered, the premiere is about to go out, i really hope it goes well. Here is the link – https://youtu.be/U0VGIa-IDvg. The thing is that you want everyone to enjoy your trip as much as you do.

We have decided to stay here for another night after tonight meaning tomorrow is my last chance to edit my way up to this moment on the YouTube stuff. That also means that on Tuesday we will be on country number 4 and making our way down Portugal. I am super excited for Portugal especially Nazare, that was on eof the places we identified as somewhere we wanted to go, hopefully see some mad waves!. I am going bed now, i am shattered it is after 9 here now, and i had 4 bottles of Estrella at the top of the mountain so especially tired. Thank you all so much for reading, i do enjoy writing this, and it makes it even better knowing that A. people are reading it and B. People are enjoying it.

  1. Please bear in mind that some of your followers may have hearing loss (like me), so these posts are better for us to follow.

Live hearing what you’ve all been doing, the weather / climate changes, the people you’re meeting and the places you’re staying/ driving through.
