If i have said it once i have said it 100 times i just cannot believe how fast time is going. This time next week we will be packing up to be on our way back up north. We don’t have concrete plans yet but what we are thinking is leave here on the Friday afternoon after my work. Head as far north as we can then get a ferry (over £100) cheaper than the tunnel and we are not exactly in a rush. Then get back into UK and head to …………. Devon.
It is a ball ache of a drive to get from Dover to Devon, we did Portsmouth from Cofton before and that was a bit of a painful drive so i can imagine that Dover to Devon being a dozen times worse. I have not worked out where we will stay Saturday night but from Sunday i want to stay Cofton for the 12 nights in the run up to the show. They still have there children’s entertainment until the end of October so would be a shame to miss out rather than come all the way up north and have no entertainment. Along with the swimming pool and the beach being so close.
If i was to win the lottery id buy a caravan on a seasonal pitch at Cofton even for just the summer months when we are planning to coming back to the UK. I love it, and Lisa loves and the Beef will no doubt love it also.SO i want to sit there for 12 nights then make my way back up north and have a day or 2 at A and E Leisure to plan with the Dodge the NEC and some other bits and pieces. I will be glad to see everyone there, Gary and James who run the service and body shop side of things dread me being there because almost daily ill pop my head around the corner and say “can you come and just have a quick look at this?” which is code for can you please help me fix this. T be fair to the guys they have never said no or told me something will be too much trouble. I think giving them a box of beer before i set off every time helps with that.
