I know i have said this at least 100 times already but what a lovely time we have been having down here. It is absolutely brilliant. I will pop a link for them so you can see the website for them here. It has been so nice to spend some quality time with the Beef and his Mum. I keep saying that this is a bit like my first child as me and Isabella’s mum split when she was only a few weeks old so all these things that he does for the first time are totally new to me. ON the flip side the “dont want to sleep” meltdowns are new also. Still a bit sad about the Motorhome situation but what we did originally plan was to go back to Morocco in the camper for another year but back everything before we go and get there in 5 days with a camper full of stuff. It is the knowing where you are going and how long you are going for that makes a huge huge difference.
In the camper i could quite easily go to Agadir for 6 months again but this time i would take a huge awning, our new chairs, loads of kitchen stuff like our new Ninja, soup maker, toasty maker, slow cooker and an electric cooker. We would have an electric splitter and set of electric into the awning and one into the camper. To be honest the camper doesn’t really need it. The solar is enough to cover the fridge and the very little power that charger phones or LED lights draws. We would get a TV for the camper and one for the awning as well so the beef could watch his French nursery rhymes whilst we watch TV in the awning. We have most of this stuff already the only thing i would like to buy would be another zip on porch door for our Outdoor Revolution Cayman Combo PC and to replace the carpet the carpet got dusty in Morocco and never recovered.
Thinking about it we would do that with a motorhome the benefit of a Moho is that you have that indoor space as well so if the weather is awful outside then you can all sit inside in the dry. However the awning allows you to do that outside. Ultimately from looking at the weather throughout the winter it is a case of no more than 5 days of rain in Morocco in its worst month. So if it rained we can still go to places eat out etc. So i am feeling much better about the situation if it doesn’t get resolved in time for when we need to leave. Leaving UK date is set for the 7th September with or without a motorhome but this time with a 1 year old instead of a 4 month old.
