Eeek eeek eeek eeek she is here and she is ours!!!!! But the only pics I have from this day are out of the Moho window looking over to the campervan doh! OMG we love her so much. The space we have is unbelievable. That being said we have SOOOO MUCH SH!T we need to sort out with tip runs and organisation. But still, we can get out of bed and make a cup of tea without even thinking about moving a thing. The bed is massive too, even bigger than the bed in the caravan we had! B L I S S
We’ve been lucky enough to get a pitch at Blakemere for a few nights til we go away for my birthday. I’m not sure what we’re doing yet, just know that Dickie is organising something. I’m so excited to be moving again and in the Motorhome. What a birthday treat it will be. I just wish we had some better weather, fingers x it picks up soon 😎
Before all that though we’ve got a few days of slog ahead getting through all our stuff from the caravan and campervan and putting it in the MoHo! We’re not buying any bits until all of our belongings are sorted and til we see what we actually need. It will most likely be storage bits and bobs. Just can’t wait to get travelling again especially to the better weather!! We’ve got the Dubbed Out festival coming up at the end of July and the plan is then to get moving! Watch this space x
So what have you found different from the campervan to the motorhome, apart from space. Do you regret not having bought the motorhome earlier!
Has insurance jumped up between the two, or is it really no different.
Do you miss anything from the camper?
Hi Ellen, absolutely everything about it is different. Yeah they both can get you from A to B to sleep for the night but it’s a total game changer. The space and everything being so much bigger really sums it up. We have an island bed, tons of storage, space for the beef to eat, play, sleep and a massive wind out awning. Set up takes not time at all, by the time Dickie’s done gas on/and or hook up / water I’ve got the seats spun around, the beef’s car seat out the way and the kettle on!! We would never have got the motorhome if we hadn’t got a camper, it just wasn’t even a thought this time last year when the car broke down we just wanted the best of both (i.e. caravan on seasonal, van to do trips/day to day travel). It was only when we had the life saving hysterectomy having beef that we decided to hit the road and when we realised how much we loved it we knew after our time in Morocco we’d come back to sell the caravan (sold) and camper (Still for sale). I’ve drove her twice already and actually really love driving, thought it would feel too big but totally second nature!
