The Beef absolutely loved his time at my mum and dads. And of course he absolutely loved Winston. Named after Winston from Still Game haha. Think he made a new best friend. We are both dog lovers and definitely want to get a dog when the beef is a bit older! The trouble will be picking what breed as we love them all 🤦♀️ We had some square sausage on rolls for brekkie and then we made the journey back to stay at Stoke mamma’s house for the night.

Before we could hit the motorway we stopped by the cemetery to pay respects to my sister. It had been just over a year since she passed away, and due to the pregnancy complications with the beef I wasn’t able to travel to her funeral. It was a sombre moment in what was otherwise an amazing trip.
The journey back flew in, we made a pitstop in Hamilton for fuel, and decided to nip into Halfords to get a bigger car seat for the wee man, or not so wee man. His head was getting way too big for his “baby” car seat lol. We had a McDonalds for lunch and managed to make it back to Stoke at a respectable hour. We are absolutely buzzing to get the motorhome tomorrow. We still can’t believe it’s happening, as Dickie keeps saying many a sip of tea has been spilt between lip and cup, but all along it has just felt like she will be ours. Stand by!!!!
