A day of goodbyes today and what a lovely few days we have had. Despite spending it parked up on my sisters driveway in the middle of Wolstanton in Newcastle Under Lyme. We have had my Mum just down the road as well which has been nice to be so close even if only for a few days. The most important thing for me after not seeing her for 2 months was worrying whether she had deteriorated since last time id seen her but i was absolutely made up to see that she was still her good old self. We never really got to talk about whether she felt any different. I sometimes try and hold back from those conversations mainly because i’m not sure i really want to hear the answer. I still spend most of my time waiting for someone to tell me that there has been a mistake.
I had a big list of jobs that i wanted to at my sisters but never got round to it. I didn’t look at my shower tray or wash my motorhome. I sold it to myself though as Morocco can get quite dusty so i will get it washed when i get to Agadir. I got to watch my nephew play football as well and he has really enjoyed us being at the house. He has always really loved the Beef and it has been the first chance we have had to go and watch him play. They absolutely pumped the other team and he scored as well, whenever he does i find myself getting a bit teary i don’t know why.
After we got back from football we packed the Moho and headed off towards Northwich as we have a few errands to run tomorrow. The Beef has got his 2nd round of injections, i accidentally left some bits behind when we left A and E in August like my step, my front windscreen cover and we had a parcel delivered after we left. I may just pop my head in to see the guy in the body shop to get them to check the shower tray for me and i have another niggle list i want there help with. I am really looking forward to seeing the people up there. It is mad to think we left 2 months ago. Times flies when you live in your moho!
