Diary Entry – 14th april 2023

Today started off with my usual walk to the bakery (Lisa) with the beef. Was gutted when I got there to find out that my usual was off as there was no coffee machine or juicer working as they had no electricity. I went to the shop and picked up some bits then back down to the campsite for a walk to the sea front. The beef was almost asleep when one of the guys from the site stopped to say hello. Because I’d stopped walking the sleep had other ideas lol. After a bit of chat it was time to do some laps of the site to get the beef off to the land of zzzz’s.

I’m trying to maximise my time when the wee one is asleep. Rory and Koji World Adventure Series is due to have another book launch at the end of the month so I’m chipping away at that as well as reaching out to get some publicity on Book 1, Scotland! I’m delighted by how well the first book has done, and excited to be working on Book 2, England! What I love about it is I’m getting to learn cool facts as I write the books too, shock horror, I don’t know everything haha.

We had a walk up to the pizza place at dinner time and got a couple of margarita pizzas and chicken tacos to take away. Dickie was soooo hangry, he’s not been eating enough during the day nor drinking enough water, and it finally caught up with him. It was actually quite funny as I totally relate. Once the pizza was scoffed he jumped into bed and we had some chat as I fed and settled Rory. They were both out for the count, allowing me to get a little motorhome research done, i.e. trawling autotrader to try and find us a bigger van, EXCITING MUCH!? ’til the next one, xx Lisa
