Diary Entry – 13th May 2023

Almost felt like being back home today. But from the beginning…. we set of from Mohammedia at about 7 o’clock which for us is good because aimed for 06:30. So we got in the camper and then started chipping away at the 5 hours driving we had to do today. It is pretty much one straight road from here to Tangier Med and we got a bit of a head start on Ness and Gee who were another hour further on. That was it, we had them in our sights and we pinned them our live location and they did the same and they drove steady whilst we caught them up.

We got to the port and there was a ferry in a couple of hours and the whole departure process was pretty good apart from the intensive checks for customs looking for drugs, fags and booze. Probably people and cats as well.

We were very excited to land back in Europe, a bit giddy almost and after what was one of the fastest set ups in history we made our way over to Gib with Ness and Gee who hadnt been over the run way in a while so it was nice to show them. The rest of the afternoon was a blur but it started with a pie and many pints from 3pm into kareoke time at 9pm and finished after midnight. It was a really send off for us 4 who were officially going our seperate ways now. For months….
