I am such an idiot 🤦♀️I’d only gone and locked myself out of my banking app and when I went to reset the password online it only went and sent the authorisation code to my old phone number. I was really frustrated as when I phoned the bank I told them on two occasions I changed it already – once in the bank and once via a form on the app. What made it worse was they posted the code out but we were in Scotland and my address is in Stoke. Grrrrr. After 3 calls to Digital Banking I eventually got someone who helped me. As it turns out you can go into any branch and get them to print off your bank statements!
The closest bank to where we were staying was in Dunoon, so a trip was in order. This was super important and super urgent as the Finance Company for the motorhome needed 3 months bank statements. The company could accept these printed off from the bank and they should be scanned in and sent to them. So off we went and made the trip to Dunoon. After 30 minutes in the bank and 30 minutes in the library I got the docs uploaded with the Finance Company. Now it was just a waiting game.
We had a wander around Dunoon in the on/off drizzle, stopped at a wee cheap n cheerful cafe and saw The Waverley again! There wasn’t really much else to do. Its a shame really as it’s the start of the summer holidays in Scotland but just nothing here. On the way back from Dunoon we had some pretty spectacular views. We missed the viewing point for here but I still managed to get a not bad shot! I saw the whole of Dunoon hahaha. Til the next one, Lisa x
