I cannot believe it is coming up to 3 months in our motorhome. I cannot believe how quickly that has gone!! Literally flown by. In such a short time we have created some amazing memories in it already, we have been 4 countries and spent 5 weeks in the south of France. Had to have 2 new tyres. It definitely feels like ours now. That is part of the beauty of getting a “new to us” vehicle is that it is like meeting a new person you have to find out about all there quirks and funny habbits etc. The driver wing mirror never stays out on this so ever so often i have to wind the window down and push it back out. It is a bit annoying but all part of the mohos charm.
It has been nice to spend some time in a house though, they have a dog called Daisy so they left the back door open for us so we could go in if we wanted to. So i just worked from the kitchen or from the sofa the beef spent all his time on the floor just crawling about and standing up against stuff. It has been especially nice for him to have a big piece of floor space where he can get about. He is more confined in here but thank god we didn’t have the Camper. In hindsight now we are so so so lucky to have gotten this as we would have been struggling otherwise, to the point where we probably couldn’t have done it, well actually we definitely could not have done it.
After work i went to pick one of my nephews up from Football club and then we stopped off at a little pop up brewery in Wolstanton called “The Whippet” it used to be called Terrys Tuckbox back in my days and was a greasy spoon cafe and it is the first time i have been in it. The best thing about it was that it has Staaropramen on draft and it is a staggering £4 a pint and it is delightful. Considering i was chuffed to start getting cheaper pints in Cofton from Biscarosse for £6.20 a pint from £8 a pint. Partnered with the fact that it is one of my favourite pints as well. That is why i love Stoke. It may be a dump but it is my dump and it is always nice to come back for a while.
