An entry from me, Lisa today. Because Rich has been working remotely we’re sharing the diary duties until he’s caught up! Hump day today started out with a walk with the beef up to the bakery/pastry shop. This is becoming the norm, but at £2.40 it’s such amazing value! I’m having that for breakfast, cereal for lunch and then a normal dinner. I’m not really hungry at lunch because it’s so warm, but if I don’t eat I would be mega hangry by dinner time lol. How cute is the beef here. Whilst I was having my pastries he was digging in to an orange and little bits of a croissant. He loves his grub!
After brekkie it’s a walk back to campsite via the supermarket for any bits we might need. Milk and yogurt were today’s essentials. We took Rich back a Pain au Chocolat, and some fresh bread for his lunch of spaghetti hoops on toast. Though we don’t toast the bread that’s what we still call it! After lunch the beef normally has a nap, we headed to the pool and whilst daddy worked, the beef slept and I got some laps in. Also had a go on the wee slide which is great fun 🙂
When the beef woke he got a little dip in the pool too. He’s not a great fan yet, I think going from the heat to the pool is just too cold for him though the water isn’t that cold. If I keep him close to me rather than trying to have a carry on he much prefers it. I’m going to spend a lot of the next week trying to bring him along in the water. One thing he does love in the water is mummy singing baby shark, his wee eyes light up and he starts to wiggle and smile with excitement. Gradually, I’ll introduce him to different water games and toys, hoping that he’ll become more comfortable and start enjoying the pool as much as us!
