Diary Entry – 11th September 2023

Had some more random rain but i was able to predict it in the sense of that there was none in the forecast and it looked liked it did the other night before it lashed it down for no reason. The difference being now that we have a sun canopy that is probably 3.5 metres long compared to the small one we have in the Transit. It is funny thinking back sometimes because with the rain that we have had sometimes we would have really struggled in the Transit. Just makes me wonder how on earth we did. It was certainly made easier by the fact that i was on a sabbatical for the first sort of 3 months of it.

Think we are at the rainy stage of the weather cycle here which means it get rainy for a couple of days and then once that has passed then it is sunny again. I quite like the variation, when it is just baking hot for weeks at a time it does frustrate me whereas a bit of rain every week or so for a couple of days certainly keeps everything crisp, fresh and green.

I was saying last week about how quick the working week went/ goes. I tell you something Wow the weekend goes even faster. I just seemed to blink and then it was Monday morning again. The good thing about being a digital nomad is that you never seem to get the Sunday night fear. Although you suffer with a different type of fear, and it is something that i have always suffered from which is constantly worrying and being paranoid that your doing something wrong or I’m in trouble. That is even worse when your working remotely as well, especially when it was so hard to find remote work and how important this job is to us. I suffer from that incredibly.
