Coming towards the end of our first week back in the UK and back at Cofton. Its been brilliant to be back here and we are already planning our return and at which point when we leave Morocco when can we try and get another stay here again next year. In an ideal world i would love to try and come back here and do a month maybe April and head to Newquay for a month in May and then a month back here in June. Really for digital nomads we should really try more places but for some reason once we find somewhere that we like i almost feel like it is a risk to go somewhere else. In case we try it and don’t like it or it doesn’t compare. That makes us sound like the worst digital nomads in the world.
The challenge being is that i need WiFi in this country and it is always a risk going somewhere and the WiFi not being up to standard i need. In an ideal world i would win the lottery and then i could travel travel rather than having to work in the week. I suppose working from my Moho in Devon, Morocco, France as an example is better than an office in Bolton.
Had one of the worst phone calls imaginable at about 4pm. My line manager was off sick today and they had no one to cover so i got the “can you please work till 18:30 because no one else can”. For someone who loves a Friday night this breaks my heart. Especially when you have the old 5:30pm finish line in sights. I ended up clocking off in the end about 6:10pm so it wasn’t a complete disaster but there is not better feeling than clocking off on a Friday. I dread to think the Friday feeling i will be having this time next week. With 2 whole weeks off!!
