The whole i am only going to have a couple last night didn’t go well. Ended up drinking 80% of the weekly beer. So had to negotiate with Graeme to buy some beer from him. Fortunately he didn’t mind else would have resulted in me having to go to Uniprix again. Me and Lisa had a drink for the Coronation about midday and then we all gathered round Ness and Gees from about 1 o’clock and we stayed there all day. I had to go and do some baby sitting which is a new code word I use for when i would like to have a bit of a nap. What a lovely day it has been, I really enjoyed the military aspect of the coronation, it did go on for a while, maybe to long but I understand the sense of occasion and it was good to see everyone get behind it.
We met a new English couple today called Ian and Julie, apparently they had been here for days but because they were opposite a French van and we had seen them to talking to the French people i assumed they were French so i felt really guilty about not inviting them round Ness MH last night. She walked past about 10am and said “are you watching the coronation? and i was like “yes”. I went straight over to Manda and Ness and said who is that? Manda explained they had been here a while so when they walked past again we asked them round.
They had planned to make a Sausage Tagine so they brought that round, it wasn’t really like a Tagine but in the way i that i like Tagines. SO it was more like a stew than a tagine and that was perfect. That had me thinking about making a time of Tagine later this week with beef and vegetables that i like such as potatoes, carrots, turnips and just throwing it all in and letting it cook together. We stayed up until about 10pm and everyone was well oiled by this point. We were the first ones to bed but we have a baby so that is always my excuse. The good thing is that when poeple say “where were you for the coronation?” we will be able to say with our friends in Agadir
