For all the moaning i have done about the heat, i wasn’t half glad to see the back of the rubbish weather. However i know exactly what will happen, we will have 3 or 4 days of hot weather and then we will be moaning again. I thought i was bad in the heat but my lady is something else. She absolutely hates it, some may say, not me, that it can, occasionally, potentially, make her really grumpy and huffy. That is not me saying that obviously. Just what some may say. The last 2 days have been pretty grim with the wind Tuesday and the rain on Wednesday. The thing that is most surprising here is that it can go from no wind to gale force within 5 minutes so you always have to be on sun canopy watch in case the wind gets up and it wants to become a sail.
We know have a line of English vans lined up starting with Mel and Alan, Us, Ness and Gee, Tracy and Ken and Jackie. So we are planning on having a party on Saturday and doing some cooking for everyone and some dance music. There seems to be a bit of an influx of English vans now which is nice. The Moroccans love English people because we spend money, tip them and are polite whereas some other nationalities treat like a bit like a 2nd class citizen and spend no money whilst they are here and just sit in there Vans. So the owners are always happy to see English people.
It feels weird being here for Easter, Easter is normally a time when we are away i always think it is the start of camping season. There was hundreds of people on Twitter who were sharing amazing pictures of there camps. It is nice to see you guys getting some nice weather of your own. The weather forecast here is due to get quite hot over the next week but with wind around about the same time every afternoon. I am not sure why that is but around 3pm everyday the wind is getting up to gust of around 25mph which is enough to give me the heebie jeebies with the canopy. I have 4 days off after today having the bank holidays off which once again feels weird being here because there is no mention of Easter or the UK bank holiday which i suppose you would expect.
