Was finally given a bit of a break from the warehouse and was allowed with the real people in the shop today. I want to try and get the shop as straight as possible and tidy up and try and merchandise stuff. It is so hectic in the summer months that sometimes the shop can get on top of you. Not only that i promised the Dodge i would try and get him in the best possible for position for a life without me. I mean to be fair he has coped for the last 9 months and he did fine and did fine before i ever worked here but i always go on about the “Rich Skelton Effect”. If i can have the demo stuff sorted, warehouse today and shop tidy then in can walk way with my head held high.
We stayed on the car park last night and again i somehow managed to be a couple of minutes late. I blame Lisa to be fair before i met her i was never ever late. In fact i hated being late but i think its just one of those things now, i try and not be but mostly am. I sold a few awnings today and a Sky Canopy so a pretty decent day. As long as i do more than everyone else i dont mind. But it is my last day of the 13 day streak and boy am i ready for a day off tomorrow.
I cannot believe again how wet it has been. I have never known a summer to be so wet it is horrendous. It is so annoying, you literally cannot do anything but sit in the shop or the motorhome. I have been trying to do some demo videos for A and E but not been able to spend more than 5 minutes outside anywhere because it does nothing but rain. I am really hoping that it starts to get a bit better soon. Looking at the forecast it is due to improve next week but the weather accuracy predicter is that is is highly changeable. I cannot wait to get away again. I just cannot wait.
