White Rabbits! White Rabbits! White Rabbits! Another month into the diaries. So these started in the beginning of December and started off documenting our preparation for our big trip which turned into a pre amble to the next big trip now. So it is 10 months and still going strong. This morning we woke up outside the Stone Henge Inn pub which is a pub stop over. There is a free park up right by stone henge but it was dark when we got there and we could quite find it. So we had the pub as a plan B.
We drove about 3.5 hours from Dover to try and get close to Devon as we could so from Stone henge we had about another 2 hours of driving to do but safe in the knowledge of knowing that once we get to Cofton we are down for 10 nights so can have a rest from driving. The funny thing is when we have to drive anywhere i do get excited i do like the driving and the travelling but then i do like having a base set up and a camp. Morocco will be a funny one knowing that we are due to stay somewhere for 6 months and be in the same place.
Can i just say, i absolutely love this place, there is just something about it. I cannot really put my finger on it either but as a family we have had so many amazing holidays here and there have been years when i have spent 10/12 weeks a year here with fishing and what not. Having the motorhome though and not being able to bring my fishing stuff but i don’t really have time to go fishing. With work and with it getting dark so early now as well. I say it all the time and i cannot reiterate it enough, if you have not been here you just have to come.
