We have a plan for October. We are not use to planning this far into the future but we have so much to do we have no choice. So Spend the first 11 days at Cofton and try and relax a bit. On the 11th we will head to Stoke to spend a few nights on my sisters driveway until the Sunday and try and cram in as many visits to see people as we can in the few days that we are there as it may be the last time that we are in the UK until next April/ May time. After a bit of an initial panic we managed to find somewhere close to the NEC to stay in the Moho as i refused to pay £47 a night to stay on the pop up car park there.
We are about 15 minute drive away from the NEC so we will just drive to and from everyday. Lisa has press passes for 3 of the days and for the other 3 she has speakers pass. I have a speakers pass and a traders pass. We are going to travel to and from the campsite everyday. It just means if the Beef wont settle then Mum can bring him back in the day and rest him up and do what ever she needs to do in the day. I have 2 weeks off my work work to cover us for the NEC and then a monstrous drive down to Agadir.
Our last night on the Campsite is Sunday night, after we have packed up ready to leave on the Monday i want togo to a home bargains or Wilkos, pound stretcher and stock up on just random bits like pot noodles, super noodles. Those sorts of things that are synonymous with those sorts of places. Things that will be getting purchased in bulk is things like brown sauce, English mustard and gravy. Brown sauce because i love brown sauce, and gravy for Christmas dinner. Mad to be planning for Christmas already but need to make sure we have gravy.
We will drive down to Portsmouth to get the ferry from last Monday night to arrive in Santander on the Wednesday morning at 8am. Cut out the whole of France, like i said a few days ago if we are not staying for a sustained period of time i wont drive through France again, better economy to ferry to Spain.
Drive Spain in a day and get a 7am ferry from Tangier med on the Thursday morning then try and get to Agadir on the Thursday. Get set up and have a few days relaxing before i start work again on the Monday. That is the plan. I am way more comfortable doing that than driving France in a day and then Spain in a day. Just means i have a couple of nights rest on the ferry before 2 days of driving then couple of days and nights rest before back to the grind.
