Diary Entry – 13th September 2023

Pretty much up to our 2 month anniversary of living in our moho now and we are still coming to terms with it and adapting and evolving. One of the things we bought with us is this Isabella childs chair. The plan was for us to buy an Isabella director chair so when we were outside the Beef could sit at table height so he feels a bit more part of it and can be involved more. The only problem being that we forgot to buy a directors chairs so he had been sitting on our Quechua chairs from Decathlon which we bought in Morocco. We only had 2 of those so one was being used by the Beef and then Lisa would use the other one meaning i was on my Outwell chair. So it didn’t really work.

The Beef has been spending plenty of time siting on the back bed but now he is more mobile it is difficult because all he wants to do is launch himself off which, as i’m sure you can imagine is not ideal. SO i had the brain wave of putting his chair on the passenger chair at the front next to me so he can still watch TV, still look out of the window and watch the world go by which is his favourite thing. So he is quite happy now king of the castle at the front and observing all around him. He has certainly found his feet with Moho life now.

I had one of those warm feelings yesterday where i really felt like we were starting to thrive rather than just survive. The Beef is doing good, the weather was better everything was just starting to get into place. So during my lunch break i packed my laptop up, my music speaker, headset, mouse etc and moved them onto my table outside the front of the Moho and spent the after noon working outside listening to the French birds twitter in the back ground. The fresh air did me the world of good as we were really really busy yesterday so the outdoors was calming for me.
