Diary Entry – 8th September 2023

Another scorcher here at Parentis En Borne. We have this for another few days but it should be cooling down here i think this is a bit of pattern of the weather here, it gets hotter and hotter then a storm comes along and clears it up and then the cycle starts again. We have really enjoyed this site to be fair, the only thing that would have made it better is less bugs. I’m anti bugs. I apologise but i absolutely hate them. With a real passion.

I worked until 5:30pm today and then we needed to redo our water in the Moho. The fresh tank is usually lasting about a week but that isn’t for showers. We have a problem with the shower floor but i’m not convinced that is a bad thing. That will be a bit of a bush fix hopefully by my friends in A and E. In the shower by the time you have pulled the curtain round and stuff like that there isn’t a lot of room for someone wide like myself. To be fair id rather use the facilities anyway as long as it isn’t push button showers. They drive me mad they do. It is just something i can never get my head around as to why they are a thing. We have chosen our pitch in Morocco to make sure we are closer to the shower cubicle with the twisty shower water button.

The good thing is now that the Beef is over 1 years old we no longer have to chemically sterilise his bottles we can just wash them as normal. This means he can also have honey. We didn’t realise whilst we had given him honey with his breakfast at the shows that your not supposed to give them honey until they are a year old. It is amazing that at 363 days you have to sterilise the bottle and cannot give them honey but 3 days later it is fine to do so
