Getting extremely excited now about getting back on the road. I mean, don’t get me wrong the first few months are going to be tight with one thing and another. Think my first full wage will be end of September so it will be tight. The thing is it doesn’t matter if we don’t live lavishly, we never wanted to but as long as Iv got my best pal and the beef with me then it will be fine. The weather makes it easier as well whether it’s nice walks or going to the beach etc. Everything is easier in nice weather. And I’m certain the cost of living cannot be any worse than the UK. £4.99 for bloody Ovaltine, in Lidl!! Robbery.
The most exciting part is the planning. At the moment we plan to stay in Northern France but I may try and get an earlier Chunnel and try and get towards Montpellier in the south. I want to try and do as many free park ups as we can. The beauty of a Motorhome is that it is so much easier to just potter, also having a big fridge helps with a freezer that runs off gas so we can literally go and do what we want.
In theory we will be back in Morocco in about 6 weeks. We were looking at the weather there and in Agadir where the temperature is normally very stable is over 40 degrees. 28 was too hot for Lisa in the winter I dread to think what she would be like in that. Looking at that I’m so so so glad we decided to get the air con. The only problem with that is that to fit it they need to cut a big hole in the top of the Motorhome. Like a 40 x 40 hole, in the top….
