We’re on the road baby!!! Hayling Island here we come. We were supposed to set off for 9am but in the end it was closer to 1pm when we set off from Blakemere 🙈 I’ve made up sandwiches for us all, Beef included – he loves seeded bread with ham or cheese, lettuce, mayo and even onion! We’ve yet to discover a food he doesn’t like!
The drive South was a pain in the @ss! The traffic was horrendous. So many stop starts. Hate that type of traffic. Anyhoo we managed to make good time even in the MoHo and arrived at the campsite around 7pm. Ness and G were out so we got pitched up beside them, the awning out, windbreak out, seats out lol and got camp set up. It feels ace to be on a new site.
Once Ness and G got back we all got cuddles, esp Beef and of course we headed to the pub. It was just round the corner from the campsite. Last orders were at 10pm!!! So we came back and had an early one. It was just lovely seeing our pals again. We have missed them!
