We have only gone and gotten ourselves a bloody motorhome!! I cannot tell you how chuffed we are. Thank god. What a stressful experience it has been but well worth it now. We are totally over the moon. We stayed me Mums last night and i wanted to get tot he storage unit first load the camper up with motorhome stuff so that when we pick it up we can start the laborious process of loading everything into its rightful place. It has been a little bit like moving house. One thing i have realised is that we have way way too much stuff. Despite doing a tip run today we have more than a motorhomes worth of stuff. Every time i open the door of my storage unit i am surprised how much shite there is.
Considering we have spent much of our time at Blakemere Touring Park it seemed only fitting that we spend our first night in the Moho there. A few times i have felt a wee bit emotional because it has been such a stress to get here and the relief we feel now is unbelievable. Bearing in mind this debacle started on the 27th May, which was the day after we had driven 2500 miles to get home. But at the moment it is full of crap so we have set up a base for a few days so we can start trying to sort through the stuff and do some more tip runs etc.
As silly as it sounds one of the things i have always wanted is to have a swivel captains chair at the front of my moho. I just love sitting in it and putting my feet up. I have probably spent in my mind millions of £££s kitting it out but with money always being a bit tight it is about making sure we are getting what we need rather than what i want. There will be some stuff that is essential like more electric points because there is only 3 in the whole of the van so i need to make sure we can get power almost anywhere. But mainly so Lisa can use her hair dryer that was the first question she asked when she walked into the van when we came to view it that first time.
