Today was the reason why we wanted to be back in UK for this weekend. It is my nephews birthday party at Power League in Stoke. The plan was we were going to surprise him but we went to see them last Sunday which somewhat took the surprise out of today. That was at midday but before we could even set off we had to get the camper Valeted. It was absolutely disgusting, the dust, the sand and the fact that it had been lived in for 5 months meant it was due a good clean.
What made it worse was that it was probably about an inch deep with bugs, we must have averaged about exactly 70mph on the way back and amount of fly debris was unbelievable. It is mad to think we have been back for a week now. It has gone so quick. It really has but have enjoyed being back but i do miss being away. It is just remaining focussed on getting stuff sorted back here so we can get off again. Like i have mentioned not getting too comfortable.
After Jackos birthday party we went and spent the afternoon at the local cricket club. The weather since we have got back has been brilliant and no where near as bad as i was expecting. I am still keeping the shorts hot streak going. We cannot remember last time we got some rain in any country. Probably early April in Agadir. Long may it continue. Just looking at what we have got to get done over the next few weeks and it seems really daunting…. So much to do.
