I think it is time to let you into our plans for the next 12 months…. a little while ago we decided to sell our caravan as we had made the choice to live in on the road. Being full time digital nomads, the term Van lifer gets a bit of stick from the likes of the International Caravan Vlogger and digital nomad sounds so much more sophisticated. Around 1/3 of our expenditure is currently swallowed up by our caravan finance and associated caravan costs. No that we have our minds made up we want to sell the caravan and hopefully all the stuff along with it. Make a bit of money but most importantly free up the £600ish a month from site fees etc.
We have our visa for Morocco until 20th May and we aim to be back in UK for June. In June we intend to sell the caravan and treat my Nan and Mum to a week in Devon with the Beef as they won’t have seen him for such a long time. We plan on being caravanless by early July and we then plan on doing the NC500 and driving around the Republic of Ireland in our campervan for July, August and possibly September as well. Once we know how much money we can make on the caravan will decide how much negative equity will sit on the Camper and we will look to get a MH in September.
If we struggle to find one we like or if we don’t clear enough of the negative equity we will then head back to Morocco with everything we need to stay here for 6 months and thrive rather than just survive. Although a Motorhome would be nice I am more than happy to come back to Morocco in the camper and in Agadir we have found another a place I’m more than happy to call home.
What do you think?
Good plans, can’t wait to see you guys and hope it all works out for you.
That’s like a great plan. But did you contact Jason of Caravans & Campervan
Great plans you only live once, and lots of happy memories to be made while you are young enough to make them so I say go for it and wish you all the luck in the world
