Wooo hoooo its Friday! Now you might think every day should feel like a Friday to me, not having to work being on maternity, but with Dickie working it feels like the start of the weekend and we had a bit of low key party planned for Friday night. We’ve been taking turns each to cook for our neighbours, the lovely Mel and Alan did a steak pie on Tuesday night (it was divine!), we were doing Friday night, and on Sunday Ness & G are doing a Sunday Roast! Can not wait for that!
With us watching what we are eating through the week we said we’d have a drink, get some tunes on and “do pizza” and by do pizza we meant get a takeaway from the little pizza shop up the road. They even deliver to site! You will not believe the amount of food we got for 300 Dirham, about £25 quid, we fed 6 of us, pizzas for everyone, a side salad and extra chips! Mad. Would have been nice to cook pizza on our Cadac Pizza Stone, but it’s just not practical for 6!! We’re going to do some “sweet” pizza’s on it soon, if you haven’t tried Nutella on a pizza you just haven’t lived. It is soooo scrummy.
A great night was had by all, the food was delicious, company was great and we had a good laugh playing the guess the song game. OFC Dickie is too bloody good at it, it’s hard to get a point lol. We both had a fair amount of beer, though I think I got off lightly, no head ache or hang over which is a bonus. The beef slept right through too, double bonus! Just as he’d gone down the sun had set and the new moon was high over the sea/horizon. I had to run to the front to capture it, and today the tide was out so I’ve done something a little different with today’s pic, I hope you like it! ’til the next one xx Lisa
