Mondays here are not like the Mondays back home. It is funny though because the clocks have gone forward in the UK and because the clocks went back for Ramadan the UK is now 1 hour ahead. So we have gone from 1 hour ahead to 1 behind in the space of a week. The good thing about that is I now essentially work 10:00 until 14:00. So managing to get up for a walk and get plenty of jobs done before the family wake up. The weather here the last few mornings has been odd, misty until about 11, but it is not like normal mist so whether it has something to do with the Atlantic being so close
As soon as it gets to 11am and the mist clears the temperature goes from 15 to about 32 in an hour and all of sudden the bit of protection you get from the mist goes and its like WHAM! We are thinking of moving from this site soon. As nice as it is and friendly the people are there has been a bit of a down turn in standards during the holy month of Ramadan. I will give you a couple of examples they seem to have stopped cleaning the pool so the top of the water is full of flies and leaves etc. The bottom of the pool where stuff has settled when you move your foot you can see the dust swirling around. The bread shop which was one of my favourite aspects is closed for the month, the onsite restaurant is closed for the month. SO you cannot really use the pool and then the beach is a decent walk away so it is easy for the others to get bored. I don’t get bored as i work for the day and once i finish it is fun for a few hours but then its tea time etc so i don’t have time to get bored.
This evening we have planned a day trip tomorrow, so we will be ready for 09:30 to take Ness and Gee’s motorhome and park it on the beach. Once i finish work at 2pm we will then head into Agadir to find the Uniprix which is a shop that apparently sells alcohol and on the way back from there call into another campsite to check it out about moving there after. So a really really busy day but it will be nice to work on the beach and nice not having to pack our camper down.
