I personally believe that this diary, if i intend to keep it, is as realistic and as honest as possible. It defeats the object if i portray the image of perfection when sometimes things are far from that. On the same sense i don’t want to bombard people with click bait titles etc. Today has been one of the tougher parenting days that i have faced recently. I will start from the beginning, he slept for about 10 hours until 8am this morning, great, was up for about an hour or so then straight back down, amazing! Luke from the fishing shop was back in work today so i wanted to have a wander down to see him as i have not seen him in a little while, we got talking and he started telling me about some fishing he has been doing called LRF (little rock fishing) right up my street for this trip and he said “i bought some stuff from Trego Mills”. So i coerced Lisa into going there to get us a rod each etc, anyway got there and Rory just cried for probably the best part of 2 odd hours on and off. I find crying difficult to hear, it is just one of those things that i find extremely difficult to deal with. We tried, pushing him in his push chair, picking him up, sitting him up, feeding him, and he would not stop crying. So after some time he eventually nodded off in his push chair, but then 5 minutes later eyes wide open like he had just had 3 hour nap!! Crying again, so we decided to head home and look at fishing stuff another day. Popped him in the car, and back to the static where he slept for nearly 5 hours. Just a nightmare few hours. Lisa is amazing during that time, i get naggy but she is so calm and so soothing. She really does deserve a medal. I really do love her to pieces.
Anyway onto more pressing matters, i have bought some new Korda slip on s and some new Korda quick dry shorts, had to buy a XXL which is depressing and even they felt a bit tight around me ghetto booty. Also, as we went to Trego Mill it gave me a chance to listen to the van and see how bad the rattling was now that all of the stuff was in it, to be fair it was not too bad at all. A couple of mugs that got switched around etc but not too bad at all. Was relatively content with the rattling. Starting to think about driving abroad earlier, whilst driving up to a UK round about i was trying to thinl about how to go around it in France, got confused and nearly stalled the van.
I am thinking that the driving will be a learn on the job thing, nearly done all of the videos now, just a couple more to do tomorrow, and the should be ready to start forming a playing schedule but they will start from Sunday this week, 8th which should give me 2 week head start to start filming the van life vlogs and always being ahead.
