Diary Entry – 17th December 2022

What a journey that was, the furthest north i have been. It was over 500 miles, and i would drive 500 more. (Scotland and a proclaimers gag there) but the form has been posted. Hardly drank anyting on the way there so i didnt have to stop to go for a wee. Then on the way back tanked 4 cans of diet coke and had to stop at Tebay services to go for a wee and once as i set off from Dunfermline. But it is done now, so nothing should stop completion on the 21st which is Wednesday. Had a text from DPD as well this morning telling me my Jackery stuff was on the way. Must have spent about 4 hours on the phone on the way up but got loads of web site stuff done.

Now the temperature is warming up again after the beast from the east is awning is absolutely soaking. An absolute nightmare situation this time of year. Don’t know how I am going to fix it but it will need doing… Lisa won £135 in the bookies with Liam Delap to score anytime and Stoke to win 2-1. A tremendous bet and she stuck it out till the end as well, very well played.

Got back at 19:30 straight clothes change like stars in their eyes and away we went to Alsager, Daisy’s party was great and the wee man was on fire he was. Left about 10 as i had had 4 cans and was fading fast, got back about 11pm and straight to sleep and got a straight 8 hours which i was chuffed with.
