Welcome to todays diary entry! Oooooooo had a little bit of a thick head this morning when i woke up too much late night partying at Blakemere i only nipped in the Tipi for 1 and ended up having more than 1 and then made our way down to the Wee Howf for one for the road. As always though was looked after by brilliant wife who must feel a little bit like having 2 children. I do have my plus points though…. sometimes. I think i was asleep for about 9pm and then i was awake as usual for about 7am.
Once i am awake i am awake and Lisa goes mad at me because i don’t seem to be able to not wake her up as well. Although Sundays are Lisa’s day to make the first cup of teas in the morning so she was given her marching orders at about 07:15 and she brought me some paracetamol, ibuprofen and some heart burn tablets. I’d had heart burn pretty much all night so i was delighted to finally get some Gaviscon down my gullet. To be fair i wasn’t feeling sick or anything like that just had a thick head so i had a great idea.

I thought whilst it was a nice crisp autumn morning it would be a great idea to do a few laps around the campsite. I love to do this for a couple of reasons but mainly i like looking at other peoples set ups and seeing what caravan/ motorhome/ campervans they have and what awnings they have. In true geek style. One thing i did notice was just how cold it was. It was absolutely freezing. I think i am going to have to stop wearing shorts now and purchase some jeans or somethign like that. We only went for a walk for about 20 minutes and by the time i got back i couldnt feel my legs.
So the shorts are getting retired for the next 4 weeks. I tell you what else is happening in 4 weeks time we are only getting on that bloody ferry to Spain. I honestly cannot tell you how excited i am. I am going to miss my Mum a lot and despite not seeing her as much as i definitely should have there is comfort in being closer and come 8 weeks time i will be about 2500 miles away in a different continent. I can obviously Facetime etc but it is nice to be close. We are both very very very excited. If it wasn’t for the convoy id be heading straight down to my favorite bolt hole and getting my camp set up and hunkering down for the winter. I always like to think who else will be going back this year. We have met so many incredible people there in our time. I CANNOT WAIT!
