Welcome to todays diary entry! Today started like a lot of others this morning with me and Mum waking up first and i think we are just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the Beef and he slept better last night than he probably has for a while. Well last 2 nights have not been too bad although these last 2 nights we have not done ourselves many favours. The night before that wasn’t ideal because id tried to throw storm straps over the cowell of the awning to keep it from flapping as much but that then got caught under my air con unit so i had to get up a ladder and release that and then last night we didn’t fall asleep until gone 11pm partly because it was so hot and i get a bit paranoid about putting the air con in the night time because some Germans who were supposed to be our neighbors moaned about it.
So if like previous nights we’d have gone to sleep at 9pm we would have had from 9pm until 3:30am undisturbed sleep but because we went to bed late we only got that 4 hour spell there and after 3:30 he woke briefly at 6am but he went back to sleep but by that point i was awake and wasn’t going to go back to sleep. I got a phone call from the Dodge which was nice, i end speaking to either him or Jen or both of them most days but i do enjoy our little chats in the morning putting a bit of a plan together for the coming days/ week to see the business through the coming winter weeks. It will soon be January though, or the season is not too far away now or other uplifting words i always try and end the call with.

At 08:30 i am always at the bread shop waiting for the fresh baguette delivery to arrive and i am always the one who goes down and i fetch 6 baguettes, 3 for us, 2 for Mel and Alan and one for the Fegan’s, i used to get the Brookes one as well but they have decided to move to the other side of the site to escape the noise that sometimes comes from behind the wall. But 6 baguettes is 9dhm which is 72p. I love those numbers and the bread is so nice and it is still warm as well and i have a buttered baguette every morning for my breakfast. We had a nice relaxing chilled day today and it was really nice to be able to sit in the cooler temperatures and relax. The Fegan’s went to the Tuesday market and brought Beef a paddling pool so no doubt that will be getting some usage although that mainly may be for me to dip my feet in.
Stoke were on TV tonight but i didn’t end up watching the game until the end. I would normally have a sleep in the afternoon although a siesta sounds more grown up. Although i just wonder whether that is what is making it a bit more challenging for me to fall asleep in the evening so i am trying to break the cycle so today was a no sleep day and i did end up getting off to sleep a little bit easier than previously as well so it was definitely worth it, i suppose the real proof will be in the pudding at what time i wake, although that normally depends on what time he wakes up. We drew and from what i did watch was pants.
