Welcome to todays diary entry! Due to the action from the soiree last night we needed to make a small trip to the Uni Prix and also as it was payday for Mum we decided to combine that with a trip to the Marjane as it is the first big supermarket trip we have done since we got here. Also, as we edge closer to Christmas as well i wanted to make sure we still had some Christmas lights to put up as well. We organised the taxi originally for yesterday with our trusted taxi guy but because it was so windy we decided to postpone it for 24 hours because i didn’t want to not be here if anything happened to the awning i could around to either anchor it down or just do what ever it needed to fix it.
The last thing i would have wanted would have been to be in a supermarket in Agadir and then get a phone to say my near 40kg drive away awning blowing around like a big parachute ripping the wind out sun canopy off. So we cancelled until today and it is still so so hot outside but the wind has died down a bit and it is not a fiercely hot but still hot non the less. The Carrefour is too far for me in a taxi and it is easier to get a taxi to Marjane and then to Uni Prix as the Marjane doesn’t sell beverages of the alcoholic variety.

The Fegans treated themselves straight away to an air con unit as they said they just couldn’t cope without air con anymore and then they followed us over to the Marjane, we were only going in for a few bits that we cannot get locally which now isn’t a lot but sometimes it is nice to walk around a supermarket. Like i said i also wanted to get my hands on some Christmas lights for the back garden as well. Rory is starting to learn who Santa is and every time he sees him he says Santa. I ended up buying him a couple of toys for him and a new toy box so that means that a toy clear out is going to be due soon. He loves cars so we bought lots of cars so hopefully the cars, being small, will fit well into the box.
After picking far more food than we need or expected to buy we made our way down to the Uni Prix which is in the town part. It sells all the imaginables you could think of and all sorts of bits of tat but most important it probably has the best alcohol section of any supermarket in Morocco that we have seen. I think it is better than the Carrefour and the best thing about shopping in the Uni Prix is the fact that there is a little bar a bit further down the road so we always stop for a couple of drinks there. There are lads that come around and offer to clean your trainers as well so i had been planning on getting mine done which is why i wore these ones today and they got cleaned to within an inch of there life but they are now ready sparkling.
Lisa slaved the afternoon away making a Tagine and Couscous and it was up there with one of the best tagines we have ever had. The cous cous was definitely the nicest i have ever had.
