Welcome to todays diary entry! One of the things we are blessed with this time around here is with just how many people we already know and have spoken over the previous times we have been here. Don’t get me wrong, some of them are French that don’t speak English but they recognise us and they recognise the Beef and they all comment on how big he has gotten since last time they were here. Which always tempts me to learn “That is because he is a tank” in foreign languages to help explain the situation to them better.
Not only the French people but we know loads of people on here already. There is Mel and Alan who we met first time we were on this campsite and they got here before us. They skipped travelling last winter but they are back this year with there friends who seem a bit mental. Then there is the couple who warned of the rapidly decreasing space on the campsite who were here last year and they are really nice! She has lost 4 or something pounds since being here which is really good. I am not quite at that but i have lost a couple of pounds now. Then there is another absolute OG, which is a chap called Tom. I have mentioned about Tom before and the fact that he has been coming here for over 25 years in his motorhome and he drinks the tap water here as well. I’m not that brave but it doesn’t appear to do him any harm.

He ironically has just bought a lodge as well and i think he is planning on selling his motorhome and getting something large enough to drive here as he has a lovely dog called Skye. Now, it is not a Jack Russel but looks like a Jack Russel and i keep getting in trouble for saying it is a Jack Russel. But breed aside it is a truly lovely dog. We didn’t have a clue that he was buying one we just happened to mention that we were sniffing around them and he just pops out with “iv bought one, completed today”. I do have a lot of questions to ask for if we decide to buy one one day but for now good on him! A great example of living your best life.
I didn’t get round to walking today as we were getting some new carpet delivered for the back of the motorhome. It just means now that all of our outdoor space is covered from the pebbles and dust and dirt on the floor so it just means we have more space now where the Beef can roam free like the feral child he is. Then it just a case of sweeping the mats every couple of days for any dust that settles on top. The weather forecast for the next couple of days seems very extreme and i think since we got here it definitely seems hotter than the previous years but we have also had a bit more rain. But the weather does seem noticeably different this time within the short period of time we have been here.
