Welcome to todays diary entry! In all of the time we have been coming to this place last night was the first time that we had ever experienced thunder or lightning. It was quite the lightning show as well so it came as a bit of a shock to us. Especially when we did our most recent 6 month stint we only had a couple of days of rain. Maybe 4 to be exact so since we have got here there was a few spots of rain on the Friday when we arrived then last night and then again this morning and into the afternoon but one thing is for sure it is very warm. Or as we would say int he UK it is Muggy!
Daddy day care was in full swing today it was agreed that Mum was going to have a day off so she could just unwind a bit so that started off this morning with the big lad in his push chair and i pushed him along the sea front to get him some fresh air and he was quite content in there. I think he likes it most when i push him because i am 93 foot tall i walk considerably faster than his Mum so feels like a roller coaster when he is with me. Saying that we walked 5k in a little under 48 minutes which is pretty good pace for walking. Thought i would build myself up to running with some fast walking. Saying that though have lost 1lb since i have been here so if i can keep that going and try and make my way down to 15ish stone that would be sensational.

Mum was working until 15:30pm so as we needed a few bits from the shop i took the Beef away again but this time because of the time of the day i knew it would mean that he would be asleep by the time we got into the village but there was a relatively new shop on the front. We call it the “Blue Shop On The Front” which you may have guessed is blue in colour hence the extremely creative name. The great news is that this is the first shop that actually has a freezer with some frozen bits in it. I will have said before that everything here pretty much gets made from scratch. So to have somewhere where you can nip and get some oven chips or some chicken nuggets is a great help! Especially as the Beef absolutely loves a nugget.
By the time id been shopping and bought some bits from the meat place and some veg and made it back here Wee Man was well and truly fast asleep so we sat round with the Brookes and the Fegans and had a couple of drinks until he woke up. He annoyingly did that thing again where he wakes and just has a melt down for about 30 minutes but after that we had a decent evening just the pair of us whilst Mum stayed down the road with those guys. The boy was down for 21:17 and i must have been down by 21:19 and we didn’t even here Mum come back in at 22:00. I did say that i would do the night time bits as well but accidentally slept through the first 2.
