Welcome to todays diary entry! What ever this thing is we have it has now consumed the entire motorhome. Every single one of us has it now. Even Mum but fortunately just as she is getting worse it does appear that i am on the mend now and hopefully in the coming days i can try and get myself to some sort of full health. Don’t get me wrong though the blocked sinus is still there and i am still having a runny nose etc i am also really tired still but i am in no way as bad as i was on Monday
I can draw time lines based on what happened to me and i can see that Beef is probably peak poorliness and Mum is about a day away so it looks as though i probably got it a couple of days before Beef and then Mum the day after. So it is definitely looking as though we should have a full squad back to health by the time we go away on Monday. This will be the first time in about a year that we will have stayed in something other than our Motorhome. I am just hoping the weather is ok and that my Mum enjoys it. It will be really nice for me Mum to be able to spend a real chunk of time with the Beef.

I am hoping that i enjoy this time at Cofton as my last few experiences have left a lot to be desired so i am hoping that because we are in a static it should be a little bit easier to enjoy it. The last 2 times i have been i have spent the first few hours arguing the toss about getting electric to the pitch so hopefully we wont have any of that that when we get to the statis as it includes all of the electric. This is probably Cofton’s last chance saloon with us and if it lets me down again this time i don’t think i would ever forgive it again and instead i would drive an extra couple of hours and make my way to Hendra in Cornwall and stayy there instead.
We are planning/ hoping on putting the cot in my Mums room a couple of times whilst we are away, not to go out but mainly just to try and have 1 night undisturbed sleep. Although if he carries on how he has been i may not risk it because it is important my Mum sleeps as much as she can. The MND nurse always said “don’t lose any weight” and “sleep as much as you can”. So the last thing i would want is the Beef having a really unsettled night and us having to come and get him anyway. Although i may let Mum have a night in the bed and i take the Beef in the living room in his cot so she can get a full nights sleep and hopefully Mum would do the vice versa.
